Another Invincible Group Three Winner

Five winners including a new stakes-winner in Most Important (pictured) made Saturday another good day at the office for Yarraman Park’s headline sire I Am Invincible.

The famous colours of well-known owners Graham and Linda Huddy were carried to victory at Eagle Farm on Saturday by classy four year-old gelding Most Important, a dominant winner of the $200,000 Group III BRC George Moore Stakes.

Stakes-placed twice previously, the Tony Gollan trained runner was overdue for a Black Type win and broke the ice in emphatic style.

Drawn the outside in the field of 11 for the 1200 metre sprint, he travelled midfield for Robbie Fradd and charged clear to win by two and three-quarter lengths.

Most Important was a $260,000 Magic Millions purchase from the Yarraman Park draft and has won five races and placed eight times from 22 starts earning over $377,000 in prizemoney.

A fine sixth in the Magic Millions 3YO Guineas last year to Mahuta, Tony Gollan will no doubt be eyeing off the rich race day at the Gold Coast in January again with this progressive gelding.

Most Important is the best of four winners for Orange Marmalade (NZ), a half-sister by Stravinsky (USA) to Group III winner Just a Dream from Group III winner Majestic Angel.

Yarraman Park sold the current two year-old from Orange Marmalade, another colt by I Am Invincible at Magic Millions this year for $500,000.

Orange Marmalade has a yearling filly by Hinchinbrook, but had no foal this spring after missing last year. She is now in foal to I Am Invincible’s brilliant son Super One, who stands at Newgate Farm.

Most Important was one of five winners on Saturday for I Am Invincible and is his 16th stakes-winners.

I Am Invincible has big representation at upcoming sales with 47 yearlings for Magic Millions and 27 for Inglis Classic.
