Mitch and his team are based nearby to the racecourse and have full access to the on-course facilities provided by the Racing Club which include a variety of training tracks and modern tools.
Super Newman Racing Facilities Include:
- 20 horse barn
- 8 post and rail yard with shelters
- Sand roll
- Round yard
- Hawkesbury training complex
- 6 horse walker
- Swimming pool
Swapping the saddle for the stopwatch in 2006 Mitch Newman set out with the ambition to provide a premium training service with a work ethic to match.
Claiming the Apprenticeship Title his master also won on multiple occasions, Mitch under Ron Quinton shone through the New South Wales riding ranks with his incredible knack for horses. With his mantelpiece filling with raceday silverware the infectious talent lost his ‘battle with the bulge’ much to the disappointment of the Sydney riding ranks.
These days the cabinet is being filled with silverware of a different kind in his quest to further enhance his résumé from his Hawkesbury based stable. With 10-15 horses in work at any one time Mitch aims to provide a boutique and hands-on training experience focusing on attention to detail.
With a reputation for being a particular, passionate and gifted horseman Mitch has turned these skills into an asset in the Horse Racing industry. Mitch recognizes that raceday strategy and placement of his horses is just as paramount as there condition.
Working on the mission statement ‘the harder you work the luckier you get’ you can ensure Mitch will be going the extra mile to ensure each of his thoroughbreds is given every opportunity to succeed on the racetrack.
