DOUBLE THE MAGIC WINS TWO IN ROW

Tuesday 3rd April 2018

BlueBlood Thoroughbreds continues their winning ways with smart 3YO filly, DOUBLE THE MAGIC winning two races on the trot in emphatic style, by beating up her rivals by 5.5 lengths today on her home track at Ballarat.

Trained by champion trainer, Darren Weir and piloted by Dean Yendall, the flashy chestnut daughter of Magic Albert really proved that there is some good up and coming races ahead for the BlueBlood Thoroughbreds’ team of owners. Sent out at $2.60 favourite, she settled off the speed and showed a clean pair of heels really putting her rival to bed, 300m out in the 1600m BM64.

Double the Magic ridden by Dean Yendall wins the Porter Plant F&M BM64 Handicap at Sportsbet-Ballarat Racecourse on April 03, 2018 in Ballarat, Australia. (Pat Scala/Racing Photos)

BlueBloods’ Racing Manager, David Mourad commented, “ what a super win. I was expecting her to be a good winning chance today, but to win like that was a very nice surprise indeed. Hopefully she can continue to work through the grades with the confidence she now has.”
