Appreciated the time and effort.
It was really good to catch up with you again this afternoon.
I really appreciated the time and effort you gave me today.
I’m pretty excited about this bloke too, and while understanding your thoughts on the topic, I have a little inkling that he will get over some ground as he gets older – time will tell I suppose.
I have my fingers crossed for you all this weekend and am hoping that Damien Oliver, Mick Price, and Blueblood all have a day to remember on Saturday!
All the very best to you, and hopefully I’ll see you at the track soon.
An Appreciation of Service
I just wanted to thank Blueblood Thoroughbreds , Michael Costa & all concerned, including yourself, with information filtered through to all the syndicate owners.
I was involved in horse ownership over two decades ago, but to get information, you had to get down to the track to watch the horse work, so you could get any information bad or good regarding your horse.
The new style of ownership, within the industry is exciting & is achievable by nearly anyone with interest in horse ownership.
Please pass on my appreciation, to all involved in the small time I have been able to be back as a very small part syndicate owner.
I look forward to further hearing, on the progress of the Eurozone colt.
Thank you for your introduction and latest update. Super quick response as I only came on board this morning so much appreciated. This is my first venture into ownership and I feel already that without a doubt I have chosen a very professional outfit in Blueblood. I look forward to the ongoing updates and the journey and maybe meeting you, Carol and the other owners in the winners circle !! That would be something indeed.
True Kisses – Cop this
How is this for a pointer to success. I think I told you about buying this share (True Kisses) on my 57th Wedding Anniversary. I met my wife in Newcastle when on my way from Woomera to Williamtown Air Base to go with 78 Fighter Wing to Butterworth Malaya. She was an Air Hostess with McRobertson Miller Airlines in Perth on a working holiday while visiting her Aunt.
On visiting an Xray place with 35 other Air Force guys I winked at the receptionist and she winked back (she still denies this). Two weeks later we were engaged and were married in Perth on 19th December 1958. Everybody said it would never work and they were right, as she is still trying to change me. Now cop this situation. On True Kisses’ right shoulder is my birth year 33 and on the left Shoulder is my wife,s initials DP Doreen Phylis.
3 from 3
Having purchased shares in 3 x yearlings that have all gone onto be multiple winners in Rock Temple, Black Revolver, and Lonnero we can attest that Blueblood Thoroughbreds know what they’re doing when it comes to yearling selection. Throw in some of the best trainers in the business aligned with Blueblood and you have one of the best operators in thoroughbred syndication in the country. The level of communication and overall engagement with the syndication members are exceptional. If anyone is thinking of racing young horses, especially those new to racing, you should seriously consider racing with Blueblood.
Most gratifying win – Denman Flyer
This is probably the most gratifying win I have ever been involved in.
I said originally I would have been happy just to see Denman Flyer returned to health – two wins and a second are beyond expectations.
Congratulations again to you and Carol for showing faith in the horse and the owners and for placing him in such great hands.
Very informative and honest.
Just thought I’d provide some feedback – great idea to have David give a video update. Was very informative and honest. Definitely the best newsletter since I’ve been involved. Also loved the top 10, and anyone with a dry eye after reading that ANZAC poem isn’t a horse lover! Great work!
Well Done BBT
Thanks for the update. Although it’s a shame this occurred, the horse’s well being is paramount. It could be a blessing in disguise as now she has a chance to heal and hopefully get bigger and stronger.
Blueblood is a professional team and I’m glad that I’m with your team. This is my first horse and am very happy with how Blueblood Thoroughbreds cares about their horses and shareholders.
An epic day for BlueBlood Thoroughbreds
Thank you for the update. It was an epic day for Blueblood Thoroughbreds having two starters and two winners, four Lonhro winners, your first city winner and to leave us with food for thought it was meant to be. Divine intervention held off till minutes after the race and then the heavens opened up. It was an exciting day for all.
I would like to thank yourself and Carol along with the BlueBlood team, for great communication with the emails and audio emails with progress and whats happening with the horse.
Proud Owner of BlueBlood Thoroughbreds
My decision is what BlueBlood decide. Yourself and Carol have been fantastic in every aspect with information through out my time as a proud owner involved with Resemblance. I will be keen to race another horse with you in the near future. Best of luck with your other horses as I’m following them with great interest .
A visit to Wangaratta
Good Morning Carol,
Just thought I would take this opportunity to tell you about my visit to John Ledger’s Stable last week.
I was up in Yarrawonga for the week and last Wednesday rang John as arranged and organised a visit to the Wangaratta Stable.
John was very accommodating. He took a couple of hours out of his busy day to show us around the complex and introduced us to his twin boys Chris and Brad.
It was really interesting to have the Breaking In process explained to us, particularly to my 3 mates who had never been to a Stable before and knew little about the racing game.
It was also interesting to talk to John about his start in racing with his move to Wangaratta from Yarrawonga, the development of his Racing Stables, his future plans for the growth of his operation with Mick Price and the Wangaratta Racetrack in general… All in all Carol it was a really good morning and we were really pleased we took the drive.
On the way back we called into Adrian Park with Brad and had a look at Berlutti and the Negotiate Filly and also thought we could see the Wanted Filly from a distance but wasn’t sure it was her.
Adrian Park is a great agistment… all the horses are really secure and really cared for and I can see why a top trainer like Mick Price would send his horses there.
Berlutti is looking great and getting bigger.. can’t wait to see him back at Caulfield and in racing.
That’s about all for now Carol… I hope you enjoyed this report.
Appreciate all you do!
Thanks again, have a great break.
Looking forward to a big year with Le Mans, Denman Flyer and Berlutti.
Again appreciate all you do, no-one I know in racing is kept up to date better than the way you and Carol do it.
Blueblood is above the rest!
Hi David and Carol,
I just wanted to say that the photo’s, video footage and information supplied so far from Blueblood Thoroughbreds has been excellent.
As I’ve mentioned in the past to Carol, I’ve had problems with a well known and prominent Syndicator giving us feedback on our horse and there certainly haven’t been any photo’s or video footage. I can say in the small time that I’ve been associated with Blueblood that you guys have been very informative and are streets ahead of the other Syndicator and I really appreciate your efforts.
I’d also like to say the day at John Ledgers was excellent. It was very enlightening and interesting and Lisa and I had a great day. Hopefully Denman Flyer can perform for us and we can have a bit of fun along the way also.
Rob Strojkovski – Denman Flyer
I would just like to thank and congratulate both Carol and yourself on providing what I believe to be the best syndication service in Australia. I have looked at many a syndication provider, and what you deliver is totally fair and reasonable for any potential owner.
For me communication is paramount. Blueblood’s fantastic levels of communication backed up with video has made me feel part of the exciting journey which is horse ownership. Anytime I have had a need to speak to David about a specific issue he has been there to take my call every time.
I look forward to having an ongoing relationship with Blueblood’s for many years to come.
Thank-you David for the opportunity to go to the ledger racing tour , unfortunately I will not be able to make it. However I would like to congratulate you and your team for excellent correspondence, in regards to the all American / Paperback colt. The photos and video footage was greatly appreciated, your service is impeccable.
Having owned horses in other syndicates, they mainly fall down in the correspondence stakes. Just to make a point, my son has also purchased a share in a horse with another syndicator, promising similar correspondence, and after 5 weeks, even though the horse has been fully subscribed, he has not received any correspondence, photos or videos, as we all know, there is no certainty in racing and many things can go wrong, but the fact you keep in regular contact with your clients is a major part of the fun of racing.
Thanks again for your fantastic service.
Second to None. Blueblood Thoroughbreds!
I’d like to thank the team at Blueblood Thoroughbreds for doing such a great job. You make buying a share in a horse stress free and I’m very happy with my purchase. I have been engaged with other syndicators in the past but Blueblood is second to none with their quality of service and selections. Thanks heaps Carol.
Integrity and honesty work hand in hand
I am happy to do business with Blueblood Thoroughbreds and I must say the honesty of David and Carol along with the updates that I have received about our horses is what makes it easy to buy another share with Blueblood, along with all the photos and videos I receive.
They did make it easy to want to buy another share and to be able to see the horse run was unreal.
After I showed Louise the video of his jump out and the one of him in the paddock plus photo`s, I cannot say her exact words but “Holy ????, phone Carol and tell her we will take a share???, and it was Louise`s decision to make it 10% as I was happy with 5%. I have been keen to buy with Chris Waller as my trainer and you have now provided that so thank you and we now hope to have success with this Colt.
Thanks Again David & Carol
Stephen & Louise Lewis
Ps. we will have to come down to Sydney and meet you both soon.
The way you deal with owners
I would like to complement you on the way you deal with the owners. As I am a first time owner, your emails are appreciated along with the photos and updates of RESEMBLANCE.
As I live in WA I am looking forward to coming over east when our horse runs latter in the year and meeting up with you. Keep up the great work.
Your business acumen is fantastic
Just a note to tell you that your business is so far ahead of the other syndicate that I am in, it is not funny.
Your business acumen and thoroughness are just fantastic.
Have a great Easter and I will do my best to get to the Caulfield day in May.
One of the top performing syndicators in the country
After a lot of discussion Scotty Atkins and I came to a pretty good compromise – we’d like to take 5% in your Lonhro Colt. We anticipate this being a long association, as your communication and advice to us so far has been flawless, your selection criteria for yearlings matches our own, and you have two of the best trainers in the business aligned with yours. You’re establishing a company that I consider (as well as some people whose opinions I value highly and know the racing game very well) will genuinely be one of the top performing syndicators in the country before too long – and Scotty and I are excited to be a part of it.
Scotty Doring and Scotty Atkins
We are very pleased with the service you have provided throughout the year, I think you are very professional. Its great to get the feedback regularly on the horses we have shares with. I have been involved with a number of horses with other syndicators in the past but have found yours to be much more professional. Its also been great getting the updated photos.
Craig & Renee James
The experience is enlightening
Thank You Carol
I have found the experience so far to be enlightening. It has opened my eyes to a whole new industry that I never gave much thought to. Now I am thinking about the possibilities for the future. Thank you for your great patience and assistance.
Blueblood’s are the No.1 syndicators
To Carol / Blueblood Thoroughbreds.
I could only say how grateful Carol has been with all updates on my horses.
I have been kept well informed on everything. To anyone thinking off joining into a syndicate Blueblood’s are the no 1. You cant go past them.
An easy process
To Carol & Blueblood Thoroughbreds
As a first time share holder in a horse I was very daunted about the whole prospect of owning a share in a horse, but I cannot thank and show my appreciation enough to you in how easy you have made this process.
As a new comer you made this process so easy for me and hassle free. You have guided and helped me in the best directions as well as making me feel at ease knowing that there is no such thing as a ‘silly’ question.
Your professionalism and help are next to none and I thank you for that. You have made me feel like a member of your team and I look forward to dealing with you in the future.
I could not recommend you and the company high enough to anyone, especially those wishing to take that first step in being part of such an exciting and fun industry.
Thanks so much
Thanks so much for your great updates, the news from the U.S.A. you sent sounds very encouraging for Legal Sense.
I really wanted to share this BD/DVD with you as it was the inspiration behind us purchasing shares in the filly.
After watching the movie and then the bonus footage (a must view) of Secretariat’s incredible win in the Kentucky Derby we saw your ads for the Street Sense filly and it was like – WOW! We’ve got to buy a share….
Then I checked the filly’s pedigree and found that the sire of Street Sense’s dam and Legal union’s dam and sire are related to Secretariat’s sire, Nearco – he was unbeaten in 14 starts over distances from 1000 to 3000 back in the 30′s. (I know it’s a long time ago but we thought it was another little omen for us).
Anyway, I hope you enjoy the movie as much as we did.
Shane and Barbara O’Casey
I commend your professional service
To Blueblood Thoroughbreds
I would like to commend you for all your professional services given to me as both a shareholder of a racehorse syndicated by your fine company and the help and efficiency with information during the time I was associated in your syndication.
I wish to recommend any prospective racehorse enthusiasts to your company as I have no hesitation in saying it is the finest I have been associated with and Carol Walsh as Director of Blueblood Thoroughbreds Syndication’s.
A first time Owner
Just like to say, as a first timer in a share of a horse how pleased I am with the updates I receive weekly. Received the shirt and hat, proudly wore them to golf on Saturday, didn’t help my game! Are excited about the positive feed back we have received on our filly and hopefully the good news continues. Looking forward to the future with hopefully many wins.
Rod Smith (Magic Albert/Nanouche Filly)
I would like to thank Blueblood Thoroughbreds team for the great service they have given me. I have taken shares in Touched By Magic and Street Sense (USA) x Legal Union Filly’s. The enthusiasm of Carol and guidance that Carol gave me was brilliant.
If both filly’s are half as good as this syndicate, we’re in for a great ride.
Extremely happy with well informed updates
The Mordy Boyz Syndicate purchased shares in the filly Touched By Magic. We find the service from BBT and their staff excellent as our Syndicate is extremely happy with well informed updates and progress reports on our filly. We were very pleased with how BBT answered any questions relating to horse syndications and our purchase. As we are first time owners who have never owned shares in another horse, we are excited to be a part of the experience.
