Rosettas Whey a lightly race 3YO chestnut daughter of Testa Rossa contested the CENTRAL COAST MEN OF FOOTBALL F&M MAIDEN PLATE (1100 METRES) in race 3 at Wyong on Sunday 17th April with jockey Christian Reith in the saddle. Trainer Gerald Ryan was confident with Rosettas Whey leading into the race on Sunday and thought she would be a good winning chance.
She has been working very well and was destined for a win. She jumped well from the gates to take the box seat. She hit the front at the 200 mark and gave a good kick to win from Speed Princess by 1.5 lengths.
Jockey Christian Reith commented post race, “Really good guys, she did everything that we expected her to do today which is good. Just like Gerald had told you (owners) pre-race she has been working well, she’s been doing everything good and she’s done that today. Obviously she wants a little bit further. She’s relaxing good, so more and many wins to come???.
