Day 2 sees Blueblood Thoroughbreds securing its second yearling, a cracking colt by Champion Sire, SNITZEL from the Magic Millions sale.
This yearling was hand selected by respected Bloodstock Agent, Sheamus Mills along with trainer Gerald Ryan and Racing Manager, David Mourad. Sheamus selected last years’ Melbourne Cup winner, VOW AND DECLARE.
This Snitzel colt is out of the winning Red Ransom mare, El Laoob who produced 8 foals for 6 winners including multiple Stakes winner, PACHATTACK, who produced LIQUID AMBER, a Group 3 winner. El Laoob also produced two-time Stakes winner, LA MINA. His pedigree is excessively lettered with Black Type winners and performers, there is only 2 dams to the pedigree page.
The colt will be trained by Gerald Ryan, who is so excited to be training him. In fact, Gerald trained Snitzel himself and knows this colt’s family quite well. The colt is an outstanding specimen. He has all the attributes of a precocious 2YO and looks like he can get up and go. Gerald inspected the colt earlier this week and hand selected him with our team.
He passed 100% clean on scope, x-ray and clinical examination.
This is the first Snitzel yearling to be syndicated this year from this sale. The Sire’s sales average, in only 2 days, is $269,643 with the highest paid price of $600,000.
NOMINATIONS AND BONUS SCHEMES
Eligible for the lucrative BOBS and BOBS Extra Schemes and will be nominated for the $3.5M Golden Slipper, $1.5M Blue Diamond, $1M Golden Rose & Blue Sapphire and the Magic Millions Race Series.
A 2.5% share is estimated to be around $6,995*. The share price will include the Purchase Price, Agistment, Nominations, X-Rays and Scoping, Mortality Insurance cover to the 31st January 2021.
