BlueBlood Thoroughbred’s Brisbane Cup winning mare, SEDANZER has been nominated for The Kingston Town Stakes this Saturday at Royal Randwick over 2000m.
The Group 3 contest has attracted a hot field. Unfortunately, our mare has drawn 19 of 20 (most likely come into 15 of 16 with emergencies out) in the barrier draw and will need some luck from that gate. Tim Clarke has been booked to ride and the Waterhouse and Bott camp are still confident that she will run a strong race with 2000m being more suited than her last 1600m race where she ran a flashy 4th place.
This will be a great lead up race for Sedanzer with her next tilt being the Group 1 Metropolitan at Randwick in two weeks time.
