Connections of the Group One-winning mare Tycoon Tara have booked the mare to be covered by Zoustar in the spring.
The former Peter and Paul Snowden-trained mare ended her career when she won the G1 Tattersall’s Tiara (1350m) at her last start at Doomben.
“We have decided that Zoustar is the stallion for Tycoon Tara ,” said Tony Krushka, a part-owner of the daughter of Written Tycoon.
“There was certainly a bit of interest in her from other studs, but Zoustar was always on the radar.
“He was in the top two or three stallions and we wanted to support Victorian breeding with the VOBIS Gold scheme.”
Woodside Park stallion Zoustar, a G1 winning son of Northern meteor, is standing at Woodside Park for a fee of $44,000 (inc GST) this year.
