Blueblood Thoroughbreds secured a beautiful Black colt by Brazen Beau on Day 2 of the 2020 Magic Millions Yearling sale.
This yearling was hand selected by respected Bloodstock Agent, Sheamus Mills along with trainer Mick Price and Racing Manager, David Mourad. Sheamus selected last years’ Melbourne Cup winner, VOW AND DECLARE.
The colt is out of the unraced Exceed And Excel mare, Mairie. This is her second foal.
He will be trained by Mick Price, who really liked the colt on inspection. This Black Beauty is closely related to dual Group 1 winner KERMADEC, TRIPLE ELEGANCE (8 wins incl. Group 3 winner) and MOSS TRIP (multiple stakes winner). He has a Werks Nick Rating of A+. He is in the likeness of his dad and should be an early 2YO runner. As a bonus, he is bred on the same cross as our very own, Group 3 winning mare, SHE’S SO HIGH and the same cross as Group 1 winner, LOVING GABY.
He passed 100% clean on scope, x-ray and clinical examination.
The colt has been priced to sell quick so don’t wait long to get involved, it won’t last long.
NOMINATIONS AND BONUS SCHEMES
Eligible for the lucrative Super Vobis Scheme and will be nominated for the $3.5M Golden Slipper, $1.5M Blue Diamond, $1M Golden Rose & Blue Sapphire and the Magic Millions Race Series.
A 2.5% share is estimated to be around $5,250*. The share price will include the Purchase Price, Agistment, Nominations, X-Rays and Scoping, Mortality Insurance cover to the 31st January 2021.
